Vedanta

The basic teaching of Vedanta is that our real nature (Atman) is that of Divinity and Absolute Bliss. The 'Divine Principle' called Brahman, which is the underlying reality of the entire Universe, exists in every being as the Atman. The realization that the Atman is our true nature, establishes one in everlasting happiness.

This path of Self-Realization involves the systematic study of the Vedanta Shastras consisting of The Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita and Brahmasutras, popularly called Prasthanatraya, under a traditional competent teacher for a significant period of time, until one is established in the doubtless knowledge of the essential oneness of the individual and the Supreme. Vedanta, therefore is a search for self-knowledge, a search for the God within. The Brahmavidya Foundation has been conducting weekend Vedanta classes since 2005.

Weekend Vedanta Program

Sri Guruji completed a detailed course study of the Taittiriya Upanishad, which began on 20-Dec-2020 and ended on 30-Jun-2022, with once a week lecture via Zoom on Sundays.
The scope of Vedantic studies includes all the 10 principal Upanishads and do look out in this space for future announcements on the next Upanishad course.
